Q1: How do you define an avatar?

Avatar? The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word avatar is A Representation of the Self. Basically, it is something ideal and designed by you. Like it answers the question, "If you were to design what you'll look like and what you'll be, how will it look like?".
Here, we are actually given a chance to express what we are inside or what we want. In simple terms, it is our selves,our Characters and our characteristics. Though some might say that the characteristics shown by the avatar isn't the same as the characteristics of the person, still it shows who & what the person is in terms of inner self.

Q2: Does definition of what character or personality your avatar has would only be defined in the role-playing games?

Avatar isn't only in role playing. In my own point of view and experience, I use it to express myself and be able to create another character that can and may represent my feelings & actions wherein it can't be misinterpreted.
Though some might say that they designed their avatar based on the game, still the question is "Who do you really wanna be in the game?" In this question you are answering a perspective wherein you created YOURSELF in another way or sometimes an Ideal self.

Q3: Do you want to be defined as an individual or entity virtually based on your avatar or online name?

Sometimes I want to be defined based on my Avatar and sometimes I don't. Sounds confusing? In some cases I feel that my Avatar is better in connecting to others and relating to what others feel while my real self is afraid and quite a scaredy-cat. There are also circumstances that I feel I'm better than my avatar, because I can actually do stuff that my avatar can't and show my feelings that my avatar can't interpret.

Q4: Do you find any significance of having a purposeful avatar or online identity?

Avatar is Significant? For me it is. It used to remind me of who I want to be and who I was before. It actually became like a guide and a model to me so I can learn how to connect with people like my avatar does. So I can improve myself and do things that I wasn't able to do before.

Q5: Does having multiple characters imply negative or positive impact to the person?

Negative:
1. Confusing & Mixed Identity - Sometimes people will think that they don't know you anymore
Positive:
1. Relate to more people - you can get along with more people (ONLINE USERS) than usual

Q6: If you will be asked to make an avatar for yourself today as a Social Being in the #Socmed class, how will you draw your avatar? And what #onlinename will you use?

My Avatar:
1. Long Hair + Black Hair (My True Physical features except for the mouth)
2. Clothing - Things I wear (sometimes due to clothing restrictions :D ), Should be black, blue or red and Gothic type
3. Foot ware - Sandals (probably with heels)
My style is Gothic though some may misinterpret it as E.M.O which I am not! It's okay, quite used to it. I'm happy on how I designed my avatar for a reason that it shows my hobbies, my interest, character and sometime the IDEAL Me..
